I find Ancestry.com to be generally easier to use. It also seems to have many more records than Genealogy.com.

I subscribe to both and use both every day. For index access to the 1900 and 1910 censuses, you have no choice--it is available only on genealogy.com. But for several decennia, only ancestry.com gives index access. Also, ancestry allows more powerful search by cross-referencing age, place of birth, exact local place of enumeration, etc. For me, BOTH is the best bargain.

I have a subscribtion to Godfrey Memorial Library and for $35.00 a year, I have access to the 1900 and 1910 indexed censuses plus many of the other years. They also provide many newspapers for searching by keyword. Good bargain!

Subscriptions for both require autorenewal and calling an 800 number to cancel also both owned by My Family.com.
