My grandfather was Orney Hebert, he had a brother named Audry. I believe his parents were George Hebert and Alexzina Comeaux Hebert. I was told he was raised by an uncle or aunt, not sure. We need any info we can get on his family. We found an Hebert genealogy book, but it was on my grandmother's (Lillian Lessard Hebert) first husband Wallace Hebert (cousin to Orney). They lived on what is called Sardine Point or Plaquemine Point around Addis/Plaquemine along the Mississippi river. Thanks

In the Diocese of Baton Rouge Catholic Church records there are some Lessards.
Corine Josephine is listed as a child of Omer Lessard and Louisa Thompson. Born on 3 June 1875. I have most of these church records. Get in touch and I will try to help you.

I found a listing for George Evariste Hebert (Emile Hebert and Tercide Babin) bn. 14 Feb 1886 bt. 9 May 1866 sponsors Adam Hebet and Elis. Braud (STH-2, 69) DBR Vol 17, pg 284.

Another listing for: George Leonidas Hebert (Leonidas Hebert and Stella Morel bn. 20 Aug. 1888 bt. 28 Aug. 1888 sponsors: Amadeo Morel and Emma Hebert (SAN - 2, pg 6) DBR Vol 17, pg 284.

If you could give me a time period when these people lived and where I could do a more through search for you.

Couldn't find any of the names you mentioned but my books end with 1891. I don't know when the next volume is coming out. Seems that I went to school with a Orney Hebert - always thought that was a nickname but now I know it wasn't. I will keep you in mind and if I find any reference to any of your names I'll post a note for you. Good luck with your search.
