I noticed the information you posted about the Male family from Barrington on Rootweb.com

My GGF Frederick Pidgeon married Rosina Laurence on the 24th July 1884 in Barrington. One of the witnesses was her uncle Stanford Male who was born 1837 in Barrington. In the 1881 census Rosina was living with Stanford Male at Ilminster Road Puckington. Her mothers name was Mary Ann Laurence, born 1843 in Barrington. I would assume she was Stanford Male's sister and maiden name was Male. In 1881 census Mary Ann Laurence was living at Church St Kingsbury Episcopi. There is no record of any of the Laurence family in the 1901 census, but Stanford Male is listed as a Grocer in Barrington.

I hope this small amount of information is of some use. If you have any information to allow me to trace the Male connection in Barrington back into the 1800s, this would be very helpful. As you are probably aware, there is considerable information in the form of parish records for Barrington on the net, but it ends just into the 19th century.

I know this is a little old but I only just found it.
believe that "Mary Ann Laurence" is Mary Ann Male in my family tree.
I have her as being born in abt. 1843 with a brother Sandford.

Hello my is Jenny and my dad's name was Alfred Edwin Male.
My pa's name was Rupert Edwin Male. I do not know much about my dad's side of the family unfortunatley. All I know is that my dad and pa had a lot of land at Renown Park S.A.

Hi .. We have been in touch before, and I now wonder if you could please let me have the fifteen children of William Brister Male and Elizabeth Talbot. I have no information at all on Elizabeth - no dates or anything. My earliest MALE is a Joseph Male 1717 to 1787 who married a Martha ? and earliest TALBOT is Christopher 1822 who married Mary Doble.
