Hi fellow McAlinden's,

I'm looking for information about Hugh McAlinden who was born around 1873 and married Mary McConaghy on the 14th January 1890 at Aghagallon Roman Catholic Church, Lurgan, County Armagh. He worked as a Farm Labourer and Fisherman in Ireland and had at least one child Daniel McAlinden, who was my paternatl grandfather. Daniel moved to Motherwell, Scotland where he married Mary King.

Hugh's parents were Hugh McAlinden and Mary Trainor. I'd be grateful if you would get in touch if you are related in any way to Hugh McAlinden.

Many thanks,

Hi Billy,
Not sure if there is a connection but would appreciate your input...I am trying to locate relatives of Daniel McAlinden (sometimes spelled differently) born in Co. Down in 1890. He married a Mary Reavy (again, spelling could differ) in 1908. They had several of which was my partner's grandfather, Hugh Bernard (born 1927 in Crobane, Newry, Co. Down). I have other siblings names etc. but would appreciated any info you may have?? :)
Look forward to hearing from you,
