Looking for info on William Thomas Male b circa 1837 in Bristol, Glos, UK. He married Annie (possibly Annie Perryman?) and had Annie Victoria (1863) Minnie Blanche (1870) Rosena (1872) Florence Louisa (1878) and Edward William (1866) all born at Bridgwater or Nailsea, Somerset.
Edward William Male married Annie Elizabeth Hopkins in 1890. They had three children I know of, Albert, Florence and William John (b 1900 Cardiff).
Doing this research for a friend.

Hi Panderoona,
I am the great grandson on William Thomas Male, through his daughter Florence Louise Male (Jones). He lived in Nailsea, Somerset and was very active in the community. He was a devoted Mason and donated the house to the Mason's. It was used and still may be used as the local Masonic Lodge. I have been there many times. He was active in a local Somerset military unit and was said to be a man of independent means by my mother. I do not know this to be certain, but the family rumor is that his father was an Earl, and was raised by a Mrs. Male, from whom the name was adopted. As I understand, he knew his father but never revealed his identity. Again, this may be a fanciful tale or wishful thinking on somebody's part but this story was told to me by several of my grandmother's (daughter Florence Louise) relatives. I am not familiar with the name Perryman in the family tree, but I was told that William's wife's surname was Ball. I actually have their wedding China and Silver teapot. He was married in the 1860's at St Mary's Redcliffe Cathedral in Bristol. Please let me know if you have any other information we can share.
