We are connected in two ways....1st through your Joseph (wife Mary) O'dells line. His parents were Joseph O'dell and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Shipp. Sarah's parents were Ambrose Shipp and Margaret Baker. Margaret Baker d/o Frederick and Elizabeth Baker md twice...1st Ambrose Shipp on June 13, 1832 Orange County, Indiana. He died in 1837, but they had 4 daughters, Sarah, Harriet, Susannah, and Mary, then md 2nd to Jefferson Baker on Sept. 13, 1838 and had two boys, Wm and Frederick. Margaret died about 1857. She had a sister, Elizabeth from which my lineage comes.
Then, Edward Walburn s/o Lewis and Jane Runyon Walburn md Louisa Kneff. Lewis (Edward's father) Walburn's s/o John and Nancy Nutter Walburn. John (Lewis's father) s/o John and Mary McColley Walburn. John and Mary McColley Walburn had 4 children: Robert, John, Martha who moved to Clark & Greene Counties in Ohio and Edward who moved to Meigs County, Ohio from which my line descends.
According to the book, entitled Walborn (Walburn) a Genealogical History of America: Descendants from the Settlement of 1710, including data on allied families and other asscociated connections, by Herman W Walborn pg 337 states that Edward b. 6/12/1834 and d. 1864 is buried in Kneff Cem. Clay Co. Ill. md Louisa Kneff b. 6/16/1837 at Flora, Ill. d/o Jacob Kneff. shed d. 3/20/1912 and is also b. in Kneff Cem.
