Hi

I am trying to track down a woman named E Halfacre (I believe her first name was Ellen) who was unmarried and working as a scrubber/house servant in 1915 ... Possibly somewhere in London or Middlesex.

If you have ANY info on her - big or small - please contact me urgently.

Thank you

Going from a birth record, trying to trace my grandfathers family (the person I'm looking for would be my great grandmother)

I can email you the record I have if that helps? Very, very vague. I'll be going through family storage to try and find my grandpa's birth certificate next time I fly home!

Unfortunately not. It just says 'mothers maiden name' (Halfacre) and marital status (unmarried). Father isn't mentioned anywhere on the record :(

Yes :) trying to find Franks family. My mum told me Ms Halfacre was a 'scrubber' (can't remember if that's on the record or just family knowledge)

Also, I am just assuming she must have been young because she had Frank out of wedlock -- I have no idea what sort of age bracket to be looking for.
