My Family Tree 2006 has been on my old HP computer with Windows XP, I want to move that specific software to my Dell with Windows 7.

How?

Do you have your 2006 CD, if so install it?
Then copy the FTM files over to the new machine.

NOT all functions of 2006 will run on Windows 7.
You will need a third party pdf printer/driver.
