My ggrandmother was Emma Elizabeth RYBOLD. She was born in 1850 in NY, married George Dagendesh and died in 1932 in La Crosse. I would love to find more information about her.

Do you have any more information on Emma? Perhaps her parents names or any siblings?
I haven't heard the name Dagendesh for a long time. I was just a kid, like about 60 years ago.
There are a lots of Rybolds in La Crosse and I believe everyone of them are connected. Trying to sort out is another job and I don't live there any longer.

Born 10 Nov 1850, Lockport NY
Died 2 Oct 1932, La Crosse WI
Married before coming to La Crosse in 1870 to George Dagendesh
3 or 4 sons and 7 daughters
Sister Miss Sarah Rybold of Rochester NY
All this information came from her obit in the La Crosse Tribune. I obtained it via the La Crosse Public Library site indexed under the name DAGENDISH.

From "History of La Crosse County, Wisconsin, 1881", p. 748.
City of La Crosse
GEORGE DAGENDESH, contractor and builder, and member of the firm of Tanny & Dagendesh, was born in 1847, in Switzerland. His father, George Dagendesh, came to the United States with his family in 1855; settled in Milwaukee, Wis., and died there in 1875. Mr. D., Jr., learned the stone-cutter's trade in Milwaukee, and worked at it there till he came to La Crosse, in 1870. He was married, in 1867, to Emma, daughter of Martin Rybold, of Milwaukee; has six children - George, Theresa, Emma, Rosa, Mary and Catharine.

I too am looking for any information on Seidel-Helke family LaCrosse, WI. I am granddaughter of Ernest (Seidel) and Augusta (Helke).

I have a Anna Seidel who married Franz Anton Gautsch, b. Feb 05, 1805. He also married Brigetta Seidel Jan 27, 1824 in Germany. She's the dtr of Joseph Seidel and Veronica Stolz.
I also have a Barbara Jean Seidel. b. 1943 who married Gerald Severson.
Any help to you?

Thank you for your quick response. I do have Joseph Seidel listed (no facts to confirm) married to Mary Leisso.
I have Joseph listed as son to Franz Seidel b. Jul 13, 1838 who married Elnora Gustave. Again, I have no facts or other sources of information to verify, I am a new beginner. I appreciate!

One more short circle. I have a Joseph Leisso married to an Elizabeth Digledein and their dtr, Emma Leisso, b Dec 13, 1881 in Bergen, Vernon, Wisconsin, USA who married Edward Gautsch, Apr 12, 1904 in Bergen, Vernon, Wisconsin, USA.
