Hi, I looking for any leads for Alexander (b 1846 St Vigeans), Catherine (b 1848 St Vigeans) & George Mill (b 1850 St Vigeans)after the 1861 census. They were orphaned when both their parents died in 1858. There is another brother William M Mill (b 1856 same place)who has been traced up to the present day. Any help greatfully recieved.

I do not know about any of these - we were 'Mills' but not sure.

Hi. Their parents were James Mill b. 1824 St Vigeans & Ann Mill (nee Mill) b. 1823 also St Vigeans. James's parents were John & Janet Mill (nee Low), both of Arbroth who had daughters Mary (1816 ish), Anne Strachen (1828) & sons William Corsair (1830) & George (1833). Ann's parents were David & Agnes, there may have been another daughter Agnes. That's all I have. Does this tie in with any of your family?

No, and the name is wrong. As i said we were Mills. Sorry but I don't think we are on the same track
