William is found in the 1803 personal tax list of KG Co. Would like to know any about this man and if he continued to live in KG Co. or moved on.

There are a number of Sebastians in the St. Paul's Parish Register (1715-1798), including a William, son of Joshua and Margaret, born March 13, 1725/6. Other names associated with unions and births include Joseph, Anne, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Isaac, Benjamin, Rachel, Hannah, Thaddeus, and Stephen. However, no Sebastians in any of the cemeteries that I can find (in King George). These same Sebastians show up in the Marriage Records of neighboring Fredricksburg, Orange, Spotsylvania and Stafford Cos, though, shortly thereafter, so it's possible they were headed west. None in Alexandria, Arlington and Fairfax. Good luck

You mention Stephen. A side from the LDS site I have not been able to find documentation about Stephen. Do you know where to find documentation about Stephen?

From "St. Paul's Parish Register (Stafford/King George Counties) 1715-1798" compiled by John Bailey Calvert Nicklin.

Sebastians are on pp 54-55. Pg 55, line 6 states the birth of Stephen, son of Isaac and Rachel Sebastian, March 3, 1732/3. Line 11 of that same page lists the death of Stephen Sebastian, Feb 7, 1734/5. Assuming this is the same Stephen at about a year old, it's not surprising you haven't seen much more on him.

"Marriage Records of the City of Fredricksburg, and of Orange, Spotsyvania and Stafford Counties, Virginia 1722-1850" compiled by Therese A. Fisher, p. 143 lists the marriage of Issac Sebastian and Rachel Spicer on May 11, 1727 in Stafford County. Obviously that time frame fits with Stephen's birth.

I did find one other "Sebastin" on p. 26 of Crozier's "Westmoreland County", which is a compendium of Will Books, etc. William Rollins, 4 Dec 1717; 26 March 1718, to Sarah Sebastin; my three children Philip, Mary and Thomas Rollins; eldest son is 12 next Nov; dau. 9 Jan., ensuing, youngest son 7 in March ensuing.

Hi Frances,
I am afraid that your connection to the Spicers and Fletchers is not correct. The James Fletcher who married Rachel Spicer did not have sons William and Thomas. Their only son was named James Fletcher Jr. Their entire family is as follows:
James Fletcher m. Rachel (Spicer) Sebastian 21 Apr. 1745 Stafford Co. St. Paul’s Parish
Rachel’s children by Isaac Sebastian m. 11 May 1727 (Isaac died abt 1743/44)
Rachel Sebastian 06 Jan. 1730
Stephen Sebastian 03 March 1732
Mary Sebastian 20 Apr. 1734
Children by James Fletcher (born abt 1703 died abt 1785)
James Fletcher Jr. 18 June 1746
Anne Fletcher 26 Aug. 1748
Elizabeth Fletcher 08 Mar. 1752

Frances--I am a descendant of Stephen Sebastian's son Benjamin who died in 1819 in Wilkes NC. I was wondering if you have any information on Benjamin's children. I am trying to find any record on Benjamin's daughter Hannah born about 1786 in Wilkes, NC
