I am researching the Amheiser family from Blair County. I believe the name may have been Emheiser prior to the family living in Blair County. I think they were in Mifflin County before Blair County. And I found a little information on a Christian Emheiser in York County. Would be very intersted in what you have. John Amheiser was born 1807, married Nancy Foutz in 1837 and date of death is 1886. I have this solid from family records. I do not have a place of birth for John or his parents. John and Nancy had 8 children. Margaret, Matilda, George, Daniel, Maria, Christian, Jan, Ellen. I would be very happy to hear from you.
