Dear Peter, thank you so much for this information, it is what I has confirmed what I was hoping for. George John Brotherwood who died 11th Jan 1932, may have remarried my Great Grandmother, it would have been between 1928 and his death in 1935. I do have one more favour to ask of you if at all possible, I cannot find what happened to my Great Grandmother, and if there are no other Brotherwoods buried in Alberta, she must have moved somewhere else? Her birth name was Margaret (Maggie) Cornelius Ryans, her first husband was John Murray, and then she married a Brotherwood.
So I am trying to find a death record either Margaret Brotherwood, or Margaret Murray sometime after 1935, she would have been about 52yrs old in 1935. Or do you have any aaccess to marriage records between 1928-1935 around the Lomond Lethbridge area?
Again, many thanks for your great information
Marion

Many thanks for your reply, as I live in Australia I have no idea if there are any descendants of the one I am looking for. I am hoping that George John Brotherwood who originally migrated from England with his wife Ester remarried around 1928 - 1935 a Margaret Cornelius Murray? She was the widow of John Murray and she came from Fernie, originally from Scotland. Ester is not to be confused with a younger Esther. I would really appreciate if you had any way of contacting any member of the family or could pass on my contact details to them, as this is the last piece to my puzzle, I still dont know where my GGrandmother is buried, which is my only interest in this. Thanks again, my web site is http://www.tribalpages.com/family-tree/murrymckenzie and my email is chloejane4@hotmail.com

Again many thanks

Hi there, Just wondering if you could possibly give me a bit more information on your Brotherwood contacts, or be able to pass on my info. My G Grandmother Margaret (Maggie Murray) married a Brotherwood, the only one that I can find that fits the age etc was George, his first wife was Esther, the migrated from England. (not to be confused with the Brotherwood who married an Ester, they were the next generation).

I would really appreciate any help, my email is chloejane4@hotmail.com

Many thanks

I've only seen Dave and Sandy once in the last 20 years and don't know what their email address is. Are you on facebook? Look up Braden Brotherwood. He's their son and can get a message to his parents.

if you're not on FB let me know and I'll see if I can dig up an email address.
