Hi Lisa,
I too am from this line. Would you help me to make sure I am right on this. My grandparents were Alexander who married Rebecca Webster. Is this the same line you are talking about? Any information you have I sure would appreciate hearing from you about it.
Thanks, Debbie

I think we are talking two different lineages. Rebecca Webster was born in 1785 and you would have to be pretty old for her to be your grandmother. She was married to an Alexander but he died in 1839. As with most other families, the Berryhills used the same name Alexander many many times. If you wish, you may contact me directly at and I will be more than glad to try to connect your Berryhills if I can. The lineage with Elizabeth Goodwin belongs to William "Grand Sir" and Margaret "Peggy" Weeks.

I wonder if the Creek Maiden is "Texas Missouri Cruce" that my dad use to tell me about when I was a child? Do you have a clue?

I just learned that I am related to John I Berryhill who was married to Mary D Bigness.
He is the son of Alexander Berryhill and Lady Jane Cartwright.
As my actual line starts with Matthew Pap Farrell. Do you know how this he came into the Berryhill family? He was born in Ireland in 1834.
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

I have in my Family History, 3rd great grand faterh:Eli Berryhill married Ellender Hudson, who had a child Missouri Ann Berryhill, my great, great Grandmother who married
Levi Harris. They were both born in Alabama, and later moved to Texas where most of their children were born in Nacogdoches Texas. Their children were Levi Harris, Suzic
ellen, Nance, Pearl, JESSIE LEE Harris - who is my direct line Great Grand Father,
and Jasper Newton Harris.
We have not gone back on the Harris line, past Levi Harris who married Missouri Ann Berryhill. If anyone knows these
families and knows who Levi's parents were or his brother's
and sisters were it would be a miracle. for 25 years, we
have not found any information.
There is also Deacle, Mary Bigness married John Berryhill,
Alexander Berryhill married Lady Jane Cartright, Lord John Cartwright marred Lady Jane
