I would like to converse with decendants of Sebron Sneed who lived in Austin, Texas. He was a lieutenant in Company G, 6th Texas infantry regiment during the war between the states. I am currently studying this regiment in detail and have letters of his. I would like to find out more of him. Thanks Dan

Seborn Sneed.

Thanks for the reply. The Sebron G. Sneed I am looking for lived in Austin, Texas in 1860. I do not know where he was born but I do know his wife's name was Fannie. It sounds like he may be different than yours. Give me some vitals on him and I will compare. Contact me at Surveyor@world-net.net

I am the ggggranddaughter of Robert and Susan Sneed who were slaves Sebron Sneed and his family. They are buried on what use to be the families land in Austin, TX on the other side of I35 in what was Sneed Cemetery ...that's now called Williamson Creek Cemetery as a Texas Historical Landmark.

I'm interested in any information you have to share of this family. Do you have any copies of the WIll of any family members Sebron Sneed.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for responding to my ancient post! And, thank you for furnishing information on where their ranch was with the cemetery, I did not know. I will check all my records to see what I have accumulated on Sebron Sneed and get back with you shortly. You may contact me directly at surveyking@satx.rr.com if you prefer.

I am a descendant of Sebron and Miranda Sneed. I have visited the homestead in Austin, TX, and the slave cemetery that you mentioned. Please contact me direct: dmeclaudia@yahoo.com

I believe I have a copy of Sebron's Will and many other copies of family papers. I'm in the middle of a show right now, so please be patient as I may not be able to get back to you immediately!
