Rabier? Robert? of Dundas. She was born 1883. Wanting the marriage date and the names of Elizabeth's parents.

Haven't found a marriage record yet, but came across the birth record of their daughter.

Yes, and thank you. I have most of this data, however there still remains the question of whether John George Brontmire's name was John George Brandmaier prior to his arrival in Canada. The 1871 Canada census spells his name Brandmair. All subsequent census records up to present day spell the family name as Brontmire. == My family was Anna Maria Brandmaier b.1836, and her brothers Michael Brandmair b.1832 and Charles Brandmire b.1829. Note the three different spellings. John George Brontmire was b.1828. All were born in Germany and moved to Dundas, Ontario around 1856. My Charles married Anna Marie Hirshman about 1856 in Germany. John George Brontmire is next to Emory and Elizabeth Hirshman in the 1871 census, and are buried four plots from them in St. Anne's Cemetery, Dundas, Ontario. I hypothesize that Emory b.1820 and his brother John b. about 1824, and sister Laney b. about 1825 may be the siblings of Anna Marie Hirshman b. 1831. If so then John George Brontmire may be the sibling of Charles, Michael and my geat Grandmother, Anna. Does anyone have any information that may either reinforce or negate this hypothesis?

Adrian & Ada Toupin (nee Brontmire) were my fathers parents. As well as Martin Toupin was my fathers brother. He had 2 others who past away at an young age. My father has always stated his grandfather on his mothers side was german and came from there. It's all he remembers really and he also said he's heard the name John Brontmire as well as Colin. I hope this helps. I've been looking for information on my fathers mothers side as well as Adrian's. In my fathers newspaper clipping Adrian's fathers name was spelt Oniseme.

I can tell you all about Ada May Brontmire. She's my grandmother. I'm in the process of doing the family tree on her side and also on her husbands.

She married Joseph Arthur Adrien Toupin on September 20, 1926 here in Cardinal. They had 15 children as well. I hope this helps.
