Danish school records for 1900s?

Are any school records on line? Were schools public, or were there many private/religious schools? My father was born in 1916 in the Praesto area near Naestved. What about apprentice records? He apprenticed to a watchmaker/jewelry maker & repairer. I assume he went to school, at 24 he could read Danish and English, and he spoke German and Norwegian.

The danish archives have different material about "Svendebreve".

Also some school materials.

if you give the name of the person, the school etc. it would be easier to look for.

you could contact the danish archives to see if they have material you can use.
