Looking for a phantom named Carl ERIKSON (or ENERSEN)

Surnames: ERIKSON ENERSON
I am trying to locate any information on a man named Carl Eriksen. Family records list him as Karl Enersen, and I am not sure which is the correct name or spelling.

Carl appears to be originally from Värmland in Sweden, however likely was living in the area of Tolgen, Nordre Osterdalin, Norway around 1869 as he is listed as father of Embret Carlson, who was born there April 17 1870. The baptism record lists Carl as the father but indicates he was not married to the mother (Gidsken Tollefsdatter). He was listed as working as a shoemaker from Värmland.

I am hoping to find any information on Carl, as I have so little to go on I am not even sure where to start. The Swedish emigration database has nothing on Carl. Any suggestions or clues would be very appreciated! Perhaps someone could assist me with looking in the Norwegian immigration records?

I'm having a bit trouble reading what is written about his father.

The birth record of the child you were given earlier shows exactly the limited information available.

Posting it here so no one wastes time finding it again -

The only thing similar to "Norwegian Immigration Records" would be the parish lists of persons who announced themselves as entering the parish there - and listed in the church books of each parish. It wasn't a mandatory registration...

Hi

Here is what I read about Embret's father:
Swedish shoemaker Carl, residence unknown, possible nick-name Eriksen fra Vermland (Eriksen from Vermland). Might also be Erikson ...

Embret's baptizm also noted here, no 23:
Permanent bildelenke: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20070129640109....

Thank you. Yes, those are the correct links for Embret's baptism, and unfortunately this is the only information I have on Embret's father. It's such a needle in the haystack, there's so little to go on, that I don't know where to look next to try and find more information on Carl.
