Going through our grandfathers old family photos we came across a very old one of some man we weren't able to name. Looking at the back of it, it had an inscription with the name "Carl Robley" however the rest is in Norweigan which neither my mother nor I can translate. Can anyone decipher this?? Help would be much appreciated.

Bad handwriting. I suppose: C Robley Sven Skute vores/våres besteforeldre på morssiden, that means "Our grandparents on mother's side". This Sven lived at the farm Skute, see Wikipedia "Skute kirke" (church) and "Skute gård" (farm). "O Rygh: Norske Gaardsnavne" gives only two matches for the farm. Most of our Church Archives lay free on internet.
