Birth record help

Surnames: Aamot, Christensen, Christensdatter
I found this birth record which I believe to be my great grandfather #103 Anton Aamot/Aamodt b. 15 April 1865 in Asker, Akershus. This information matches his US death record as for date and location and his father's name Ole.
His mother on the US record is listed as Sina Jensen.
I can't decipher all the names to be sure this is him.
Also would like to know the godparents names. What is the naming pattern when it doesn't have a sen or datter?
I find him later on the 1900 census as Anton Aamodt with wife Karen Christensen (Christensdatter) and family in Oslo.
I'm attaching a screen shot I saved through Paint. I'm having trouble trying to print from the screen. I don't get the whole page or just a tiny image like I'm sending.
Here is a copy of the address:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The parent's name look like Ole Christensen and Christine Arnesdatter.

This must the family in the 1865 Asker census:

The -sen and -datter are sometimes abbreviated (s. or d. at the end of the name, or dtr with the tr like a superscript) in these records, and the s is often written almost like an f. Parents are G. Ole Christensen og Christine Arnesd. Hofstad (G=gaardbruker, og=and) Hofstad is their farm of residence.
godparents/witnesses
1 Anne Arnesd. Labroten 2 Margrete Thorsd. ibid 3 Arne Pedersen Sæm 4 Carl Andreasen Hofstad 5 Cornelius Christensen Høvig

In a quick search I could not find Cornelius on Høvig farm in the census, possibly a spelling issue.

Thank you for these great links and help with the translations. I found help on an older blog about the temporary status of those links and how to copy the permanent one. So I hope this shows up correctly for Anton Olsen & Karen Christensen son Alfred #6.
Could you decipher the first word before Anton and also the godparents. So am I right that Aamot is the farm name?
This is all coming together but so confusing because of the name change.

This is the same record from a different set of books and perhaps a little more readable
Kildeinformasjon: Akershus fylke, Vestre Bærum i Asker, Ministerialbok nr. II 1 (1879-1895), Fødte og døpte 1895, side 91.
Permanent sidelenke: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=5701&i...

These records give the professions of the males
Anton is Gaardm. Søn - I don't have my word list handy, but I think this means he is the son of the owner of the farm.
Godparents are 1 Haakine Pedersen, Aamot 2 Mikalene Kristensen Chr ania(Christiania?) 3 Grb.(farmer) Paul Thorsen Hellerud 4 Grdmsøn Kristian Olsen Aamot 5 Tjsnt(servant) Iver Bre?sen?? Aamot

In the record you found, Iver looks like Jens.

Aamot is the farm name, which would change if they moved to another farm.

Where can I find who is on the Aamot farm? Is there a way to search for that parameter? I see one of the godparents, Kristian Olsen Aamot, looks like it also says son of farm owner. Then a possible brother to Anton?

Hi again,
Researching the names on the 1865 census you had posted for me led me to the birth record for Kristine Karine #25 on the following link. Her parents Arne & Magrete, I can't quite make out their last names, if you could help me with that and locations/farms and godparents it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that record was easier to read. Now that I have a few of the names deciphered, I'm getting the hang of reading some Norwegian.
Would you be so kind to look at one more for me?
The following birth record 1838 #35 Kristine Karine, father Arne and mother Magrete (would this be Margrete?),this matches the 1865 census for my family line. Just not sure of last names of parents and the godparents.
Thanks so much for your help so far, Carol
