Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me with translating Norwegian script writing from a parish baptism record. I believe I've located my great grandfather Ole Johan Hungness born October 6, 1871. I've attached the link and he is the first entry. I appreciate any help or direction, thank you so much!

Brian,

This is amazing, thank you so much. I've ran across some of the sponsor's names in my research but could never make the connection! Thanks!

Very grateful,
Melissa

Hi Brian,

I did have this "visit" from the ship's manifest but am still searching for his first trip to America. He attended Augsburg Seminary from 1897 to 1904 in Minnesota USA which explains why he was not on the 1900 census. Thank you for finding the emigration record though it gives me some searching ideas!
