I am the grandson of Boleslaw Wisniewski, who came to the US in 1907. He was born in 1895, so I thought the dates of our two ancestors were too close not to write. He lived in Pennsylvania all of his life, as far as I know, from the time he arrived in America. Do you have any more information you can share with me about the family? My grandmother was Anna Statnick, also Polish, but born here. They lived on a farm in Northeastern Pennsylvania their entire married life. It is inTunkhannock County, near Scranton.

Unfortunetly, I don't know anything else about him. Wladyslaw came to US (year and ship unknown). He was born in 1892 and died in California in 1977. As far as I know, he lived in Jamaica Queens, NY, married and had a family. He married Mary Krawczyk? and I don't know anything about her. I do know about their children Joseph, Jean, Edward, and some about their children. As far as I know everyone lived in NY or California. Don't know of anyone in PA, but since I don't know very much, I'll certainly let you know if I find anything in the future. Thanks for writing.

Hi, don't know if I ever answered your message. Lost computer for a while. Your names don't sound familiar, but don't really know very much at this time. As far as I was told, Wladyslaw came over alone and lived in NY and much later, CA. I'll certainly let you know if I find any connection in the future. Thanks for writing.

I am researching my ancestors. My Grandfathers brother came here first, named Wladyslaw Wisniewski. Eventually paying his brothers way to America, named Anthony. From what I can gather they came from a Russian town called Feliksowo. Good luck in your search.

no further info

My grandfather Stanislaw Wisniewski sailed from Bremen Germany on the ship Brandenburg. Arrived in the port of Philadelphia, PA in April, 1913. His father's name was Jan. He married Marianna Bloch and they had 5 children - Sophia (1916 my mother), Stanislaw (1919 died in childhood), Stella (1920), Jan (1923 died in childhood), and Stanislaw (1924) He lived in Philadelphia, Carteret, NJ, and Bethlehem,PA. I never knew him. He was an alcoholic and died somewhere between 1936-1940. Could this be who you are looking for?
