Looking for WEATHERSBEE and TOOLE connections in and around AIKEN and BARNWELL Counties, SC.
I have an Elizabeth WEATHERSBEE (dau of Job WEATHERSBEE and his wife Elizabeth) who married Giles Franklin TOOLE (b. 1808). One of Giles' sisters, Harriett M. (b.1812) married a John WEATHERSBEE(Elizabeth's brother??). Giles Franklin has a son, Lucious B TOOLE (b. 1842) who married Martha WEATHERSBEE.
Job WEATHERSBEE signed Admin Bond on estate of David TOOLE (uncle of Giles Franklin b.1808) in 1817 in Barnwell Co.. Have found lots of info on Weathersbeesin BARNWELL courthouse but cant put it all together yet as I dont know enough of the Family lines....
So far on SC Census for Barnwell Co I have found these Weathersbees:
1800-Job, William, Gideon, and Stephen
1810- Job, William Linus and Thomas
Still working on later censuses....

Does anyone know the relationship of these Weathersbees??? Any additional info on TOOLE/WEATHERSBEE connections????

William, Gideon & Stephen Weathersby moved to Randolph County, Ga. I believe that William and Gideon are the sons of Stephen. William Weathersby is my gg-grandfather.

Well I spent all day Sunday searching the web for WEATHERSBEE info and have found info on my JOB WEATHERSBEE back up the tree and a post that mentioned REUBEN WEATHERSBEE as eldest son of Job. I still have nothing on JOB's descendents?????? Here's what I pieced together from info on net. All suggestions and corrections or additional info welcome.

Start with generation 6 in your line.
Lewis Weathersbee Jr. married Mary Culpepper (Actually he married Ann Culpepper, sister of Mary Culpepper). This is where my line comes in . All these generations were born in Barnwell Co., S.C.
Gen. 7 Lewis Weathersbee married (some say Mary) OR Sarah Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of a Capt. Joseph Johnson & his wife ________Castalow?? Married second: Jane Foreman Bush.(Please note here, this is Lewis Jefferson Weathersbee's line. My Lewis Weathersbee had three families combined, Jane's children she brought into the marriage, children she Lewis had together, & children by Sarah Elizabeth Johnson. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth Johnson first.
My line is through his marriage to Sarah Elizabeth Johnson
Gen. 8 John Johnson Weathersbee (Called Johnson) married Jane Mixon
Gen. 9 Floyd Mixon (William) Weathersbee married Georgia Ann Simmons. (She was adopted by the Simmons, her biological dad was James Moore)
Gen. 10 James Moore Weathersbee married Bessie (Elizabeth) Hankinson, daughter of Ida Oliver Hankinson & "Batt" Jones Hankinson.
Gen. 11 My dad: Marion Weathersbee Married Katherine Mooney. They lived in Dunbarton, Barnwell Co., S.C.
Their children are: Toby (female) married Thomas Googe of Allendale, S.C.; Myself, Judith Anne Weathersbee. I married Jerry Mack Wise. Floyd Winchester Weathersbee married Teresia________. ; Jane Marion married William Sexton.; Bessie Joan married 3 times, first husband, Willie David Bragg, she has a son by him.; second husband,____________; third husband, Larry Strong.; Marion Jr. married Violet Fennel. All of my sisters and son brother was born in Dunbarton, Barnwell Co., S.C.; Marion Jr. born in Allendale, S.C.

Yes, I have the same info on the first 6 generations except Lewis Sr. isn't listed as Thomas & Lucy Burrell child and I think he is. Also a little tip for you, some say Thomas2, married to Bridgett Skinner was the step-daughter of William Jarvis of Elizabeth City, Va. and by some goes by Sarah Jarvis. Same person.

susan, I believe you are the only person I have found who mentioned Gideon Weatherby. Gideon Weathersbee is the father of andrew Jackson Wethersbee and I would like to find out more about Gideon, Stephen and William.
