I have recently downloaded FTM2012. One import error is that there are quotation marks around 1871 How do I deal with these import errors.

It would help if you tell us which program/version created the file you are trying to import.

Do you have access to the program that created the file? If so, the basic issue may be resolved by searching for the data element with the quotes and remove them.

Have you tried checking the date for the affected entry?

As I remember it, each import creates an ftm.import.log file in the same directory as the main import file. Searching through this can give more hints & an indication of the actual entry in question.
