FTM sync says changes were made when they weren't?

I use FTM 2012 (on Win7 64 bit) for one thing, as a backup method for my online Ancestry.com trees using the sync feature. When doing a sync last night the pop-up window showing the changes that would be synced showed changed and deleted sources & citations on the FTM side of things that would be synced to Ancestry.com

As I do all of my work online and never use FTM for anything how can there be changed and deleted sources & citations? I'm afraid to let it sync now for fear that something will be changed and messed up in my online trees.

Anyone run into this before?

TIA

One thing you could do is to run the Sync log report to look at the changes in detail that are being proposed. If you do that, be sure to close the FTM program with the Task Manager, NOT Cancel, so that you won't create more issues.
Also, see http://boards.ancestry.com/topics.software.famtreemaker/9684...
I accidentally made a change in FTM when I was looking at a record and then it showed up as a chance in the sync. I have not experienced the specific issue you mentioned though in FTM 2012.

Well, Brian, I spoke too soon. That just happened to me too. It says I have added 10 new people in FTM and I have NOT made any changes in FTM 2012 at all.
I'm going to re-download my tree as I don't want to mess up my online tree.

Thanks. I'll try checking the log to see what's what.
