I would like to be able when printing details in various charts to be able to print off "all" occupations as "preferred" because ancestors did change their jobs.

You can already pick and choose whether to include only a preferred instance of a fact or all the instances of a fact.

Go to Items to include
First, select "preferred instances" at the "global", or top, screen.
Now, in the list of facts in the left panel, select the "occupation" fact.
You will notice a button at the bottom of the left panel that will show "Occupation Options". Click on that button and you will get a dialog screen with various options. One of those options is "preferred" facts only or not. Unselect that option.
Click ok.

You should now be able to see all instances of the occupaton fact (can also do for such facts as residence); whereas only preferred instances of other facts will show.

This capability is in the Genealogy narrative-type register reports that FTM calls "Genealogy Reports".

PS There are a couple of facts that don't allow that option. I don't remember which ones, but I believe "name" is one that doesn't allow to switch preferred off and on.
