Ny name is Jerry Freeman and Henry Harkleroad was my gggggrandfather and was married to Rebecca Savier, his 2nd
wife. I come from this line of the Harkleroad tree. My question does anyone have anything on Rebecca, all I find is about 1st and 3rd wife, mostly the 3rd one. Their daughter, Sara, who
married a Jesse Bartee is my ggggrandmother and on down the line. Any help would be greatly appreciated on anything of Rebecca. All I know is born in VA and married to Henry in 1781. Thanks for help.

We must be related. I am descended from Sarah Harkleroad and Jesse Bartee. I have a little info on the Harkleroads but not as much as I would like to have.

Hi, guess we are related somewhere in there. Have you been in contact with Sandy Ellis also. I have a bunch of stuff that was forwarded to me from Gladys Owens over in Church Hill, TN, as she is a 5th half cousin. She is from the third wife of Henry, I beleive it is Elizabeth. Have picture of Henry's
and Elizabeths headstone also. I come in on this thru the
Hayes part of the Harkleroads, Samuel Hayes and Mary Bartee. Nice to hear from you. Get back to me if you will, am located in Arkansas. Jerry

Hello, Jerry. It was great to hear from you. I am through Mary Bartee's older brother, William Ballard Bartee and the 2nd of his 3 wives, Mary Walker. They had a son named Andrew Jackson Bartee. Have not been in contact with Sandy Ellis, although I see her name often, and have planned to contact her. Sounds like you have a lot of good info. I grew up in Ky, but now am located in Texas, and I drive through Ark. to visit my folks, who are still in Ky. I hope to hear from you again. Ruth

Sandra, I have seen your name several times, and felt that we often were looking for and at the same info. I am also descended from Sarah and Jesse, through their son William Ballard.

Ruth, glad to hear back from you also. Plus the fact, I got the post you sent to Sandra also. Do you have anything at all on Rebecca? I can't find a thing on her anywhere except when she was born, died, and married to Henry. You want to go to regular email on this and not back to the message board. My email is oleman8@hotmail.com if you do. Yes have alot of stuff on the Harkleroads, all the way back to Germany in the 1600s. What part of Kentucky you go to? Have a aunt in Lexington, only sibling left of my mother. Keep in touch, Jerry

Thanks Paul.
I have been to Beeler Cemetery and saw his heaadstone and have taken pictures of it as well. Am still trying to find something that says Rebecca was his 2nd wife and the mother of my 4th great grandmother Sarah Harkleroad. Jerry
