Louis Spongia married to Mina Maraspino had 10 children (Peter, John, Euphemia, Dora Marie, Andrew, Mina, Antionette, Frank, Anthony, and Mitchel)and lived in Port Eads, Louisiana from about 1879 to his death in 1912. His wife and child moved to the St. Bernard, Arabi area. But all the sons continue to have ties to Plaquesmines. Mitchell their youngest son reared his family in the Port eads, Boothville, areas. Please if anyone knows anything about the family. Please e mail me at spongia@bellsouth.net.
