I'm looking for the parents of David Pencey Manley and Letha (Candacy) Manley from Big Shanty,Cobb Co,GA. (census of 1850 and 1860) I believe DP served in the Army of the Confederacy. Their children were Frances, Martha, Burnetta, Clark, Georgetha, (W H, & Malissa twins), Nancy, Joseph, James. Some of the children later moved to Missouri and Oklahoma. Letha Candacy may have been of Native American descent. Both DP and Letha disappear after 1862 so if anyone has information on their deaths, burial that would also be appreciated.
