My grfather Richard STARK(S) b.1874 and possible sister Lizzie STARKS b.1877 in Roane Co., TN. Orphaned in 1877. Richard adopted by Short family and Lizzie adopted by Burnett family. Older brothers (2 to 5 of them) left TN at that time to travel west. One brother was Frank and another may have been Robert. Parents on census records listed as being born in VA or NC (?) Any leads would help.
