SOUTHAMPTON L. I., Aug. 26. -- Miss Maude R. BOUVIER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Vernou BOUVIER Jr. of New York and East Hampton, will be married at 1:30 on Monday, Sept. 3, at Lasata, the Summer home of her parents, to John DAVIS, son of Mrs. John H. DAVIS of New York. The ceremony will be performed in the garden, where BOUVIER's twin sister, Mrs. Henry Clarkson SCOTT, formerly Miss Michelle BOUVIER, was married two years ago. `Mrs. SCOTT will be her sister's matron of honor.

Her bridesmaids will ho another sister, Mrs. Phelan BEALE; a sister-in-law, Mrs. John BOUVIER 3d, formerly Miss Janet LEE, who was married in East Hampton on, July 7; Miss Ralph BOOTS, Mrs. Lawrence SHELL, Misses Frances M. MILLER, Rosalie EVANS, Nancy VOORHEES, all of New York, and Mary R. STEWART of Montclair, N. J.

Basil DAVIS will be his brother's best man. The ushers will be R. Neville DAVIS, another brother; W. Sergeant BOUVIER, John Vernon BOUVIER 3d, brothers of the bride, and her brother-in-law, Henry Clarkson SCOTT; Gordon McCULLOCH, Hampton LYNCH, John H. LYNCH Jr., Baisley Ely BASH, Jason BILLINGS, all of New York, and Frederick BOYD of Waterbury, Conn.

The bridal party will be extensively entertained during the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. BOUVIER will give a buffet supper at Lasata Friday evening, after which the guests will go to the dance, which Mrs. James W. ZEVELY is giving for her daughter, Miss Jane C. ZEVELY. On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll L. WAINWRIGHT will give a dinner at Gull Crest, their new Ocean Front home, for sixty guests, including the bridal party, all of whom will go later to the costume ball at the Maidstone Club. Mr. and Mrs. Phelan BEALE and Mrs. James T. LEE will also entertain the bridal party.
