Graveside services will be held at a later date for Anna Pet Lee Browning Hennington, 81, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who died January 8, 2006 at Columbia Health and Rehab.
A native of Maxie, Mississippi, Mrs. Hennington worked as a secretary for Dr. M. M. Roberts, attorney, and approximately 20 years as a secretary for E.C. Polk and A.J. Jones at the office of Federal Credit Company. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church. She attended F.C.A.H.S. in Brooklyn, Mississippi and M.S.C.W. in Columbus, Mississippi.
Survivors include one son, Arthur Charles Browning, a daughter-in-law, Donna Angeron Browning, two granddaughters, Alicia Renee Browning and Melissa Lynn Browning, all of Spring, Texas; and numerous cousins, including Mrs. Elizabeth Trotter Shine (now deceased) of Claremont, California, Esther Lee of Gulfport, Mississippi and Mrs. Rose Trotter Harrison of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J.D. Hennington, Jr.
Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
