John GRIFFITHS (b.1799) ; wife, Elizabeth JONES GRIFFITHS left Glamorganshire, Wales in 1831 with their 4 yr. old son David J. GRIFFITHS for New York, later Pennsylvania and eventually settling in southeastern Ohio. The areas of Centerpoint, Oak Hill, Rio Grande and Jackson are just a few of the areas in this region. I have a family book about the Griffiths with date from 1759-1991 from my husbands family.
I am hoping to find as much as possible about these people or information as to where to start looking in Wales. My husband and son will be traveling to Wales this fall so I would be grateful for any information on how to get started.
