My gggrandmother, Elizabeth(lizzie)married George E. Watkins in Big Rapids, Mecosta county, Michigan on July 30, 1889. The marriage record shows her name as Lizzie Lang Droggs. Is Droggs taken from Drogowski? I have found them listed in the 1910 census in Grangeville, Idaho with a daughter Vera, 18yrs., daughter Cora,15yrs. (married name Fetterhoff),Cora's daughter, my grandmother is listed as Vera but should read Velda, and son Charles Watkins, 13yrs. It lists lizzie's parents as both being born in Germany. Lizzie was born in 1860 in Ohio, d.1940, Grangeville, Id.and George E.born 1863 in Ohio,d.1947 in Grangeville,Id. His father was born in New york and mother in Pennsylvania.
