I am currently using FTM 2005, and periodically get an error message that data field (?) is corrupted. This seems to happen when I am trying to enter citation data in a particular individual's field. I then have trouble closing the program during that instance. I have purchased FTM 2012. Do I need to correct this corruption issue first, or can I install FTM 2012 and transfer the file over without worrying about the "corruption" issue also coming with it? I will be using the same computer.
