I would like to hear from any one that has any information on any of the following people:

Phillip Meister, possibly born in Milwaukee to a Simon Meister. He eventually married an Elizabeth Schneider, moved to Minnesota, had some children and died before 1880.

John Ruff, born around 1842 possibly in Bavaria, served in a Wisconson regiment during the Civil War, married Johanna Schneider, had several children and died in Minnesota in 1896. May have lived in the River Falls area about 1890.

Phillip Hild, born about 1846 possibly in Germany, married an Elizabeth Schneider, had numerous children and died in Bemidji, Minnesota.
