This may be a bit of a stretch for a connection to the Ohio Horans, but I have a an ancestor CHARLES A. HORAN (father TIMOTHY) was born January 18, 1847 in Boston, Massachusetts, and died May 23, 1923 in Rulo, Richardson County, Nebraska. He married KATHERINE BRENNAN 1871 in Ohio?, daughter of PETER BRENNAN and JULIA CONNELLY. She was born May 01, 1846 in County Galway, Ireland, and died May 08, 1934 in Rulo, Richardson County, Nebraska.

I don't have any official proof - except the family story that Katherine came to the US through Galveston as a mail order bride, didn't like the person she was suppose to marry, went to Ohio and met and married Charles Horan.

Does any of this fit in with what you know about the Ohio Horans? Any help would be appreciated.
