Death of Mrs. Best was Unexpected
Mrs. Bessie R. Best, wife of Eugene Best, died suddenly last evening after an illness of several days with influenza, and complications. She has lived in Coeur d' Alene 28 years. She was well known to many residents who were shocked at the news of her death.
She is survived by her widower, one daughter, Eugenia, at home,a nd three sons, Gus of Grangeville, Norman of Rathdrumand Hepburn, at home. Mrs. Best had been ill for about a week and was believed to be out of danger, when it was discovered she had passed away.
Mr. Best wishes The Leader to say that he greatly appreciates the efforts of physicians and the arrival of the fire department inhalator, in hopes that something could be done when it was discovered she had dropped away.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Cassedy Funeral HOme. Rev. Ralph I. Thomas officiating and interment in Forest Cemetery. Kootenai County Leader, Friday March 27, 1936
