I have the obits of my gggrandfather, James Tierney and his brother, Thomas, that they were born in Killeenadeena, a village or parish, in Loughrea. Family lore states that they lived on Inishboffin Island and Clifden village, which took place from the time they were born in the 1830's until they moved to the US in 1853. I've not been able to find record of their births. The info was given to our family by Ella Tierney, daughter of James and her cousin, Nellie Littlejohn.
