I am tracing the Penning family and belive that "ours" hail from Suffolk with some of their descendants living in Lincolnshire.
Interestingly we have a number of Malsters among our Penning clan.
We have not mamaged to go back as far as you, but have managed a line to a Daneil Penning and his wife Bridget from we belive EYE, they had two children, Daniel born 1692 in EYE and Elizabeth.
Can we help each other with information.
It is interesting that you say your family came from Luxenburg, we have wondered where they came from.
