Hello, I am very interested in your post regarding the Noonan's and Ashe famlies of Minard. My ancestors lived next to the Ashes and emmigrated to Vermont in the early 1870's. They worked the marble quarries there and were quarry engineers. If you have any information on this family and their relatives etc... please let me know.

John Noonan m. Mary Hanifin before 1840, had son Thomas in 1840.
Thomas Noonan m. Mary Shea 1859, D. of John Shea and Bridget Kennedy.

Thomas and Mary had the following sons
John, Thomas, Michael, Timothy, Maurice, James, Dennis, William, Charles and one other - either George or a daughter Mary. The first 5 sons were born in Minard area I believe.
The Annascaul birth records show Timothy born in 1864

I am looking for any siblings of Thomas Noonan, Mary Shea or any information at all on their parents. I know a lot of their childrens names were after other family members.

Do you know of any living Noonan family members in that area that I might be able to contact?
