I have tried to take a different tack with this. Family myth has been that Sir Arthur Roden Cutler (former Governer of NSW b.1916 d.2002) was related. The closest I can come to a relative with a common name is William Cutler with a son Benjamin (1797-1868). Is Benjamin one of the sons of your William? Unfortunately the only child I know of our William (and Charlotte Gover) is Charles. It seems that Benjamin was also a carpenter & builder, but from London and settled in NSW, Australia. He married a Hannah Davies in Westminster, 1815.
