Edward Hooker Sharp was b abt 1838 in Union Co., SC. He was a school teacher near Kelton, Union Co., SC. I was given death date as August 1, 1861 in Charlottesville, VA. Records of the muster roll of Co. E, 5th Regiment SC Volunteer Infantry Army Northern Virginia (Before the Reorganization) lists SHARPE, E. Hooker, private. Nothing after the Reorganization. I can't find a record of him being mustered out and this Regiment's muster date was April 9, 1865. Do you have any suggestions?
