This is the first time I've been back on the message boards for a long time. Patrick POWERS is also my ancestor. Your statement about Hannah REED being his wife makes sense to me. His son Charles POWERS had a son named Andrew REED POWERS AND I've always wondered if the "Reed" middle name could be a family name. Was wondering where you got that information. This POWERS line is my big "brick wall" in this genealogy hobby. Would love to hear from you if you care to get in touch.
