Sorry I was wrong about the county where Manhatten located. In my defense this is something I learned long time ago. I have no family who ever lived in that area, at least for the last 200 years.

If you do not let FTM resolve the place names you can put what ever you want for the locations.

Most of my locations were added in FTM version 16. Most of the my locations are non standard per the current FTM system. While I have spent many hours to standardize the locations, I have not yet let FTM resolve the names. There are many small Indiana and Ohio communities, and I don't know if FTM will recognize them. Bobo, Uniondale, etc.
