Torgon (also seen with slight spelling variations) is a fairly common feminine name in Upper Telemark. There was a Torgon Olsdatter born about 1832 who left with her family for America in 1842.

You MIGHT find the family among the index cards of emigrants from Telemark. It includes many early emigrants recorded before the police started the official registers in the various ports of departure in the mid 1860s. That index card file has been copied to microfiche and is available through the LDS Family History Library system. I believe that the microfiche set began with the call number 6350054.

Next week I will try to remember to check at my local Family History Center to see if that microfiche set is still there - it once was.
