I think this Marie Delvina is one of my ancestors and if so, I may be able to provide some information. Bear with me, this gets confusing. I am looking for my great grandfather, Jeddy Canell. I found his name in his mother's obituary. His mother was called Mary Rouseau and she died in 1909 in Washington. She has a daughter, named in the obit. as Mrs. John Dashner. So when I found a John Dashner married to a Deliva Connell, I became pretty sure that this is Deliva Canell, sister of my ancestor, Jeddy Canell. There are some holes, though, that I can't figure out. First of all, in Mary Rouseau's obit, only one husband was mentioned (he had died). So wouldn't she, at that time, have kept her husband's name. It clearly wasn't Rouseau if her son's are all Canell and no other husband was mentioned. Furthermore, in researching this Deliva Connell, I have found on someone's family tree that her mother was Marie Bulduc (makes sense as far as Marie/Mary for the obit.) but her father was Frank Biladeau. So how is it she has the surname of Connell? I'm pretty sure this is worth looking in to and I intend to keep going with it. Any help would be great, and if we make a connection, I have a lot more info. to share! By the way, this side of the family that I am looking for all settled around Bay City in Michigan.
