Mike -- There's a match to your list for family death notices in the local German newspapers for Margaret Kavalar Hebein 1887-1945.

The index from these papers only covers 1844-1950. Notices or obits. for other members of your family may be found in later papers, but they weren't microfilmed, so I haven't indexed them. Publication also moved out of Milwaukee sometime shortly after 1950, so that diminished some local coverage.

The index is called "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items". You can use the index at the Salzmann Library in St. Francis (Milwaukee Co.). But look-ups from the index are freely available via email. Like many valuable research resources, the index is not online.
