Lillibridge Barber Tillinghast

Where have you been for the last 20 years!

I've been looking up this lineage for what seems like ever.

My connection is through Rhoda Rawson.

I had given up a long time ago on Lillibridge
but tonight I'm in the mood for geneaology and thought I give it one more try.

Please send whatever you have and I will gladly share whatever I have with you.

My greatest interest in this family is the story of Rebecca Rawson Rumsey.

I recently came upon a book, in a junk shop giving information not in our family book.

Regarding Rebecca, her child, a daughter by the way, and that she was aboard the ship when her mother was trying to return to the colonies.

I have contacted the co-authors regarding their source of information but have not gotten their reply as yet.

Please correspond any information you have on our family.

Thank you

Cynthia

there is a letter by a tillinghast-if you type the name in the family search and click go it will come up. It will also come up if you search under Rhode Island. Thanks, Bruce

Hi Marcy:

I'd love to trade information with you. Please e-mail me with the name of your gggrandmother Tillinghast - I am sure that I probably already have her in my database. I spent a number of years doing hands on research in RI and it's my strongest state. I have communicated with a number of our cousins and you might have a few close "Tillinghast" cousins out there - I'll let you know. My e-mail is TCLRI@aol.com.

Looking for info on the family of joseph tillinghast who changed his name to tilling. Joseph was born in 1868 but I'm not sure where. I think possibly in Pa. or Md. He married Lula Walker in Culpepper Va. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Caryl Tilling
