Are there any Cole's connected to your Rhode Island "roots"? I am looking for a Fones Cole who served in the War of 1812. I believe he was from Kingsington, RI. I always see the name Benj by his name in the RI 1800 Census. My GGrndfather was born in 1826 in Broadalbin, NY. He married Lucy Jane Brown in the same town/place in Sept. 1849. There were 3 children, Riley (married Oryall in NE.), Dora (married Diver Keepers) and Xerxes (my grfather) who married Bessie Myrtle Powell daughter of Francis (Frank) A.
